This website is dedicated to Dorothy Cox Thrower, my beautiful and loving grandmother. She had a contagious ability to spill herbal knowledge so deep into your soul that even love could not part you from it. She made me believe that it was impossible for me to fail. Even so, in her last days she practiced herbs with me. My last dinner with my grandmother was some collard greens and cornbread and her love. I still feel her hugs and her holy presence. When I am working in the Lab her conscious keeps me pursuing accurate knowledge that does not fail.
